Every one knows that you have to work to eat so we do that. These days, with the agricultural advancements we have, it doesn't take long to pay for the food we need to survive.

After the need for food, we need shelter. Housing costs are a lot bigger burden on us than food, but we can work enough to pay for that too.

After the basic necessities of life are paid for, we are left with boredom so we find something to occupy us after work. Sadly, our solution rarely involves spending time with our families getting to know each other.

More often than not, it is the television that fills our down time and we know in our hearts that something is missing in our lives. If we could just make more money, we could buy a bigger television that is better equipped to tell us what we are missing as the people on the television seem pretty happy! More money to buy the things we see!

Once we have what we have seen, we want more so we watch for something else to buy that will fill our desire for more. Maybe a bigger house! If we are poor and lack the motivation to get to this point, we are left with the exact same desire that those that are "successful" have, but we think they are happier.

THEY ARE NOT! The privileged life merely affords you more opportunity to buy more things that you think might fulfill you. Now there is a security in financial well being in that if your car breaks down you don't have to hock your television to get it fixed.

Regardless, everyone ponders why we are here and yearns for more.
